Ask Ravi Venkatesan what he does and he will describe himself as a “philanthropist, mentor and writer.” He wears all those hats and more.

Currently the chairman of the board at Bank of Baroda, philanthropy is close to his heart. He is the founder-chairman of Social Venture Partners India, a network of leaders trying to address complex social issues through venture philanthropy.

As former chairman of Microsoft India, he was instrumental in creating the company’s Project Shiksha computer literacy program. An MBA from Harvard Business School, Ravi is one of Linkedin’s Top Global Influencers.

His favourite book is ‘Conquering the Chaos: Win in India, Win Everywhere’ written by Ravi himself!
